The Cosmos:
Astrology is the study of the paths of planetary identities ie. the sun,
stars, planets and moons. The Greeks obsessed on this and brought forward the
basis of true astrology.
One of the biggest factors in astrology is the position of the Sun in relation
to the earth as it is the position of the Sun that effects a person's trait.
Within one year there are four seasons, and within these four seasons are the 12
astrology signs. Through hundreds of years of recorded astrology does the modern
day astrology come to the conclusion of these set traits and personality
divisions.
Zodiac / Astrology signs:
The Zodiac signs are divided into 12
different signs. The 12 signs are then divided into three classifications,
Quality's, Elements and Quadruplicity. The Quality refers to the sign being
negative or positive. The Elements refer to the four signs of Fire, Earth, Air
and Water and the Quadruplicity Signs refer to three groups, Cardinal Signs,
Fixed Signs or Mutable Signs.
The Elements:
The characteristics surrounding the Elements are based on the
instantaneous reaction to life / stimulus. The characteristics are defined in
four groups, physical, pragmatic, intellectual and emotional. Depending on your
sign your personality will reflect one of the elements.
The Quadruplicity:
The Quadruplicity of a sign are defined into three divisions. The Cardinal sign
has characteristics of being strong willed and having the need for
accomplishment. The fixed sign has the characteristics of patience and stamina.
The Mutable sign has the characteristics of adaptability. Depending on your
Zodiac sign your personality will reflect one of the Quadruplicates.
Horoscopes:
Horoscopes is a mapping of all universal elements to calculate an individuals
characteristics. It uses the sun, stars, planets and moons to develop a unique
chart for defining a persons temperament.
Up until 1752 the beginning of the year was March 25 which is why the Aires sign
is the first sign of the Zodiac.
