The
rap/metal hybrid Limp Bizkit was formed in Jacksonville,
Fla. in 1994 by Fred Durst (vocals), Wes Borland (guitar),
Sam Rivers (bass), and John Otto (drums) and quickly rose
to underground fame through tours with House of Pain, the
Deftones and Korn. The quartet later signed to Flip
Records, where they released their 1997 debut album, Three
Dollar Bill, Y'all, produced by House of Pain's DJ
Lethal.
Their
latest, Significant Other, was released in the
spring of 1999 on Flip/Interscope.
